The company added in its message: “We would like to take this opportunity to extend our full thanks to our community of partners and even food seekers for their support.”
Despite stopping the food delivery service, Uber will continue to provide car sharing services in both affected countries and countries.
The move comes from the company after the economic problems that the Corona epidemic continues to cause in various countries around the world and declining demand for food delivery services. It also coincides with the great harm that other delivery services and car sharing services face due to the quarantine imposed on most regions in the countries where the epidemic is spreading.
It is noteworthy that Uber previously stopped the taxi service in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia last March due to the Corona virus.
