Facebook is still trying to find a foothold in the home appliance market, and one of the most prominent products in this area is the video chat screen Portal, which got three new additions today, including smaller and cheaper versions and support WhatsApp.
Let's start with the Portal Mini 8-inch high-definition and sold for $ 129, while the 10-inch Portal sold for $ 179, and the third is a piece of connection with the TV called Portal TV and be priced at $ 149 and comes in the form of a rectangle that includes a camera and microphone.
All these products support video calls via WhatsApp and Messenger, enable the microphone or camera to be disabled by your side, and also support encryption of video calls and voice command Hey Portal.
These screens are different from home audio aids such as those provided by Apple, Amazon and Google, and Facebook believes that its function to facilitate the world to communicate with each other, will be easier through such small screens.
It is noteworthy that Facebook launched last year an upgraded version of Portal devices called Portal Plus and sold at a price of $ 349, and these new options are cheaper and smaller to suit the budgets of other users.
These products will begin shipping in mid-October, and are available in more countries outside the United States and Canada, but are still not officially available around the world and will not be available directly in the Arab markets
